Fill in the Blanks: SSC CGL English
Fill in the Blanks has 34 questions in the SSC CGL Tier I bank: 16 from the 2023 shifts, 7 from the 2024 shifts and 11 from the 2025 shifts, with 29 EASY and 5 MODERATE. Each is a single sentence with a gap, and the right option has to fit twice: the grammar of the slot and the meaning the sentence points to. Read the words on either side of the blank first, find the clue word that sets its meaning, and say your own word for the gap before you look at the options.
The handout has every subtopic, worked example, formula and trap with answers shown.
